Brute Force

De La Guarda, a show I saw mighty drunk & mighty alone Spring Break 2004, remains in my Top 5 Greatest Theatrical Experiences. The Daryl Roth Theatre is in the heart of Union Square in an old gutted bank (think Jim Carry's job in The Mask...or where your grandmother does her banking transactions in Smalltown, USA). Equipped with high walls, no seats, & one-on-one stranger and performer interaction, the evening was a surround sound/sight experience within the building's vast emptiness. This being said, I need to see this production at the Roth in January:
